So I went out for a lovely night out with the girls at Sky Gardens for the Live Music and DJ nights on a Friday. This event happens every Wednesday to Saturday night.
You can either walk in or buy a pre-booked ticket online which we did for £10 this includes a free cocktail of the day. This allowed us to skip the queue and go straight in bearing in mind the walk in guest queue was quite long and you also have to go through top notch airport like security system, eugh.. how very long but worth it!
Once we got inside it was exquisite, they had a large open space with opulent glass windows with an atmosphere of deep purple lights drawing you in. In addition to this we went to explore the gardens, towards the sides of the room. This was a scenic garden of the most beautiful exotic plants and shrubberies adding to the captivating atmosphere of the venue. Very picturesque!!
One thing to note if you want a free table you need to book in advance because the tables get booked pretty quickly. However, a table is not necessary, because you can sit against the sides of the windows which is so large you can even stretch ya feet out , or on the edges by the plants .
Once we took a look around the live band took to the stage, this was absolutely brilliant! The lead singer sang all different types of songs form Rihanna to Ed Sheeran to Justin Timberlake to Alicia Keys non stop I am surprised she didn't get tired! This definitely made you want to sing along and some even danced along in the front or you can just enjoy the vibes and the music whilst you sip on your drinks.
Then we went to grab our cocktails at one of the bars, cocktails can range from £10 for the cocktail of the day to £13 with added service charge in addition to this. If you buy a ticket which includes the cocktail of the day they will give you a chip to exchange at the bar, and the bartender will tell you what the cocktail of the day is .The cocktail of the day was lovely and ya know I am girl who loves my cocktails!
All in all this was definitely a good evening out , a great evening out after work or just an evening out with the girls or friends or even a date night out. This is somewhere I would highly recommend, Sky Gardens you have my approval!
